Google is already looking inside the video
The largest search engine added the ability to search for spoken phrases inside videos that are posted on YouTube. To try a new search in action, install a special gadget on the Google homepage.
So far, this feature, however, is available only for an English-language political video on the upcoming presidential elections in the United States. But the fact itself suggests that the search technology inside the Google video will sooner or later incorporate into its main search and will probably support the Russian language as well.

Using the service, at first glance, is very convenient: if your query is found, then the places where it is found in the video are marked with a yellow marker. If you hover on such a marker, a phrase appears under the cursor.
Like Blinkx search , Google uses its own speech recognition technology for searching by indexing the contents of the audio track of a video file. And all this happens pretty quickly: the search is available only a couple of hours after the video was published.
While listening to Barack Obama and counting how many times during yesterday’s speech he uttered the word “America”, it seems to be a rather dubious idea. Therefore, we will wait for Google to install a speech recognition system and a general search so that you can search in any video and audio content: in TV shows, movies, music videos, podcasts and radio programs.
