The Ministry of Communications and Mass Media has already prepared a detailed list of projects under the import substitution program. For the implementation of all projects from the list, the department asks for 18 billion rubles,

The list itself, according to the head of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media, Nikolai Nikiforov, has already been sent to the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economic Development (MED). Nikiforov also said that about 400 companies took part in the preparation of applications.
Implementation of projects in the field of import substitution software is scheduled for a period of 10 years. The Ministry of Communications and Mass Communications plans to receive 18 billion rubles in 3-5 years.
Projects indicated in the application and approved by the government will be financed from the anti-crisis fund. Nikiforov also pointed out that this is "one of the most important infrastructure investments in import substitution."

Among the projects listed are the corporate platform from Alt Lineus and SEC IT Ros (this is the company of former Communications Minister Leonid Reiman), plus the cloud infrastructure management tool from Ayteko. Two mobile platforms were also considered - based on the Tizen system from Samsung, the SRC SOKB, the Institute for System Programming of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Institute for Information Security Problems of Moscow State University, and the OS by the Finnish Jolla, the developer of the mobile OS Sailfish.
