An interdepartmental working group has been formed to implement the national technology initiative (
NTI ) proposed by the Russian president at the end of last year. The group will ensure the development of individual technology industries in the Russian markets. It will be headed by Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich and Presidential Aide Andrei Belousov.
The Russian Venture Company (
RVC ) was selected as the project office of the NTI. The Agency for Strategic Initiatives (
ASI ) will develop the road maps. They should include a justification of the choice of certain markets and industries, a list of target indicators by 2035, and the necessary security for this, Kommersant
reports .
The government, the Academy of Sciences and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives have identified the main directions for the development of NTI. On Tuesday, at a meeting in Innogol
Innopolis, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev suggested combining the efforts of the departments and instructed to create an interdepartmental working group at the Presidium of the
Council on Modernization .

Oleg Khorokhordin, deputy head of the secretariat of the head of the government administration, was appointed executive secretary of the group.
The interaction scheme between the group members has not yet been developed. How the powers will be divided between them is also unknown.
