The Moscow Metro has signed a contract with the Micron company. According to the contract, the company must deliver 235 million tickets to the metro, Vedomosti reports. The contract amount is 1.56 billion rubles, while the purchase has already taken place.

It should be noted that Micron is not the only company that applied for participation in the tender for the conclusion of a contract with the Moscow Metro. The Azimuth Company also participated in the competition, but was unable to provide information about the chain of ownership. In addition, this company has not confirmed the fact of ownership of the full technological chain of production of tickets. For this reason, Micron is the only company that has been admitted to the competition.

Earlier, the metro has already signed a contract with Micron, but now the cost of tickets has risen by 35%. Until now, the selling price of a ticket for the metro was 4.9 rubles. Now the price has risen to 6.64 rubles. for a unit. This price was originally offered by Moscow Metro. The reason for the increase in cost is the rise in price for the production of blanks.

This, in turn, is due to the use of imported antennas for tickets that are purchased for currency, plus a customs duty of 5%.

Now digging "Micron" plans to transfer all production to Russia, for which it is planned to build a plant for the production of antennas. According to the company, the capacity of the new plant for the production of antennas will exceed the requirements for such elements. Currently, projects with transport cards require about 30 million tickets per month, but the plant will be able to make a profit only if the number of tickets produced is up to 80 million per month.
