A huge stream of unstructured information falls daily on the office worker. This stream is similar to the atmospheric column, which inevitably puts pressure on every person, even a party member, and weighs two hundred and fourteen kilos, according to Ilf and Petrov.
Information overdose causes bouts of melancholy, indifference, desire to "identify" the activity rather than actually doing something. Remember how often you look for a random unfamiliar word in Yandex? Do you refer to in-line help in office software? Do you find out the meaning of individual words in a foreign text, if the meaning is generally clear?

Infrequently, the majority simply do not have time for this, it is necessary to finish something urgently, to write, to do ... At the same time, the world of the interesting, unfamiliar, curious rapidly collapses, giving way to the "simplicity" of perception, simple emotion. The rest of the time really does not remain, and it seems that very soon it will not be left at all ... And here lies a fatal error.

Once I was assigned to write an article. Carrying around with the text for four hours, I realized that I spent most of the time developing the concept in the writing process, correcting errors during typing, as well as the typing process itself. As a result, I decided to master the blind printing method and brought out a few simple rules for myself: before writing about something, you need to know what you are going to write about, what the text will end with, what points of the “plot” will be passed. In other words, do not trust the letter, the form, try to build a text on the template. As a result, time will be spent on half the time to work, because it is easier and faster to work when the plan, the basis is already defined.

Banality? Strangely enough, it is banality that is often not perceived by a person in the vanity of the working day. An office person needs to know a Word - a banality, but who really knows a Word well? And power point? And who knows how to properly ask questions to Yandex?

Optimization of methods for solving problems is not just necessary, it is vital for every person engaged in office work. Cause? How much you want: you save the most valuable resource - time, and your own, and your colleagues. Be interested in everything related to your work, discover new things, learn to see logic and simplify routine, technical processes. And most importantly - learn to structure information. In this case, you never have to hear the phrase "office plankton" in your address.
