A group of journalists and media managers, united in a community called “We Shall Burn Bright”
on Medium ,
analyzed the behavior of users on media resources, in particular, based on last year's
Innovation Report , prepared by The New York Times.
Summarizing all the changes that are happening with media resources at the present time, the authors summarized them in several points:
1. The attitude to the site structure is changing and now the online newspaper is being made up on the air. Ethers can also be different and are divided into: “Quiet Day”, “Hell's Day”, “Night”, “Weekend” and “Plots”.
2. The attitude of editors to the release of content is changing due to the changing attitude of the audience to the content and graphic “body kit” of materials.
3. The need for higher informative value of the material increases - the reader becomes more demanding of the proposed content.
