Reports Monte Dev Meetup # 02 - Startups in Montenegro (video)
The next meeting will be held in a week Monte Dev Meetup # 03 in Herceg Novi, Montenegro on May 30th. Now I want to share some reports from a previous meeting in Budva a month ago.
The main topic was startups, their quick launch, as well as the possibility of launching their project without investment.

The most technical report. Rodion spoke about his experience in using Titanium for rapid mobile application development using the example of an existing Spycop project. There were many questions about how strong it is to compete with native applications - but we all know that the main goal of such products is rapid prototyping.
Kirill shared his startup experience from scratch of his successful project myrentacar.me in Montenegro and nearby countries. And I would call this video “How to grow without investments,” because Kirill is speaking out on positions - not to distribute shares in his project, but to develop only with internal resources. That is somewhat at variance with the generally accepted practice of start-ups, but as practice shows, it also brings tangible benefits.
The only report in English is a local developer. Unfortunately very short. In the future, we will try to invite more local entrepreneurs and developers.
In contrast to Cyril, Alex showed the startup project development path. I shared my experience in launching projects. He also told about what they are doing now, how they are doing and where they are going.
Unfortunately, not all the speakers allowed to record their performances, and even the round table was very hot, but did not get into the camera lens.
I want to thank all the speakers and participants of the meeting - and look forward to the next ones, who plan to organize each month. Come, we have the sea, the mountains and the IT.
