Whatever the advocates of free / open source software say, life increasingly convinces me that a truly good, well-thought-out product can not be obtained for free.
Here is a simple example of just such a little thing. Task: swap two paragraphs with different styles.

')
In the Word, this is done elementary - select, cut, paste into a new place. We try to do the same in OO. Select ...

Cut out ...

Oops, what is it? The next paragraph suddenly adopted the style of the one just removed. By the way, the font was slightly changed compared to the original one and this change remained in place - it turned out to be some kind of hybrid. But the name of the style (at the top left) is now “Heading 1”. It is here that is used.
All right, we insert the cut out paragraph into the right place:

And now it is necessary to change the style left by the hands - and the victory is ours. Only a victory?
Of course, this is a small thing. But when you need to swap a couple dozen of such pairs, you begin to think about whether M $ is as bad as it is painted ... After all, such trifles determine the user's attitude to the tool. And at the same time show the attitude of the developer to the user.
By the way, GIMP was used in the preparation of screenshots, in which approximately the same trivia strongly hampered the work. In Photoshop, it would be an order of magnitude faster.
Maybe someone knows a quick way to swap two paragraphs in an OO? In two clicks - how in the Word?
Update: the cause of the problem is found. She is in a strange binding of styles in OO. We look at the picture:

Guess what now you need to click to remove an empty paragraph along with the style attached to it?
In the IES, the correct answer would be “delete” - it will remove the bold separator and along with it the heading 1 hard style.
In OO, the bold style is tied to a completely ordinary delimiter
at the end of the previous paragraph. Which looks very different. There is no visual clue that the Heading 1 style is attached to it. That this is the very little thing that the creators did not think. You need to press "backspace".
By the way, as a side effect of this approach, another problem arises: if there is no previous paragraph, then it becomes impossible to save the correct styles.
