A few days ago, the Sverdlovsk Regional Court ruled in favor of seven previously blocked sites that told about cryptocurrency and other electronic currencies and payment systems, Kommersant reports . At the same time, lawyers believe that this decision does not mean approval by the state of Bitcoin cryptocurrency.

Earlier, Nevyansky court decided to block seven sites that talked about cryptocurrency and provided services for working with Bitcoin. Bitcoin.org, indacoin.com, coinsport.ru, hasbitcoin.ru, bitcoinconf.ru, bitcoin.it, btcsec.com were blocked. The decision to block was made on September 30, 2014. According to prosecutors, Bitcoins "help to finance terrorism, drug trafficking and legalize proceeds from crime."

The appeal was filed in January 2015, and based on the results of the appeal, the court decided to unlock resources.

It should be noted that as early as January 2014, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation proposed to consider cryptocurrency and operations with it as “as questionable operations related to the legalization of proceeds from crime and the financing of terrorism”. However, later a number of officials suggested not to prohibit cryptocurrency, but to regulate the system.
