Google Inc. plans to compete with Amazon and eBay by adding “Buy” buttons to the search results. This can help Google to return some of the search traffic, which now goes to Amazon and eBay,
writes WSJ. In this case, the buttons will be added to the results of the issuance paid by the companies. When displaying natural search results, buttons will not be visible (at least for now).
When you click on the button, the user enters the purchase page. The page will offer options for color, size and other characteristics of the product, and you can choose and method of payment. It should be noted that Google remains an intermediary, and retailers will sell such products. The corporation is currently in talks with some retailers, including one of the most famous US companies, Macy's Inc.
The distribution scheme of the payment made by the client will not be similar to the system practiced by Amazon and eBay. Google will charge for the number of issuance clicks made by potential buyers. Amazon and eBay take a share of the amount paid by the buyer.

At the same time, there is another difference: Google will take the entire payment to itself, after which it will transfer the corresponding payment to the seller. This is done so that buyers can use a large number of payment options.
After a while, Google will test the new scheme, first on mobile devices and a small part of the traffic.
