"Yandex" revealed the financial details of the transaction on the absorption of the service "Ros.Taksi"

In January 2015, Yandex acquired the Ros.Taksi taxis management system. However, then the details of the transaction were unknown. Now it turned out that the cost of the transaction amounted to 500 million rubles in cash. Of these, 380 million were designated as deferred payment. This part of the amount must be paid when the translation of the client base is completed and the purchased system is integrated with Yandex services.

Moreover, under the terms of the deal, the founders of Ros.Taxi can receive another 500 million rubles in shares three years after the close of the deal. However, everything will depend on the results of work for this period. If they actively assist in the maintenance of the system and it will help to fulfill the plan for the processed trips, they will receive the indicated amount, reports the publication Roem.ru.

Tigran Khudaverdyan, head of mobile and software at Yandex, said earlier about plans to expand influence in the regions of Russia and the CIS:

“In addition, we want modern cloud software to be available to taxis in all of Russia and the CIS countries. Therefore, it is planned to offer Ros.Taksi and Taximeter on preferential terms in the regions and the near abroad.

Ros.Taxi is software that allows taxi companies to take orders, manage drivers and compile statistics on the results of work. Their second application, Taximeter, serves to track the cost of travel and to coordinate taxi drivers with dispatchers. It is used by more than 13 thousand drivers.

Ros.Taxi processes over a million orders monthly. The application is used in more than 350 control rooms. The geography of the service is limited to Moscow, St. Petersburg and Voronezh.
