In March 2015,
Vedomosti wrote about a discussion in the presidential administration of the issue of additional taxes for foreign Internet companies. According to one of the sources of the publication, the question arose after a complaint by Yandex in FAS against Google. Another source talks about recent EU
statements - the authorities want to force Internet companies to pay taxes in the countries where they work.
According to the participants of the discussion, Google and Apple could pay more to the budget: Russian citizens buy apps and content in stores, and the money goes directly to the company and is not taxed.
According to RBC , in the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media, on the contrary, they consider that all the rules for the taxation of Internet companies
are in Russian legislation . New mechanisms will require a precise definition of the notion “Internet company”: enter criteria, a scheme for registering a company, a list of obligations and responsibilities.

Internet companies provide services remotely, so there are still no tax plans for such organizations.
