TNS: 11.8 million Russian Internet users access the network only from mobile devices

TNS Russia CEO Ruslan Tagiyev told RIF + CIB 2015 that the Internet audience using desktop computers for the first time did not grow. In 2015, TNS is seeing a decrease in the number of desktop users: people use mobile devices more often, Vedomosti writes .

In Russia, the Internet is used by 82 million people. Of these, 50 million use mobile gadgets. 67% of all users log into the network at least once a month from a personal computer. The share of mobile users grew by 90% over the year.

Ruslan Tagiyev noted that in the first quarter of 2015, the number of unique Internet visitors in Russia increased by 30% to 796 million, and the number of users increased by 5% - this indicates an increase in the number of gadgets. Tagiyev predicts a slow growth of the Runet - it will occur only at the expense of older groups of citizens over 55 years old, since young residents are already actively using the network.
