Vedomosti reports on a signed agreement between the Skolkovo Foundation and the Chinese investment group Cybernaut Investment Group on the organization of a $ 200 million venture fund.
The agreement was signed in the framework of the Russian-Chinese forum “Great opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses,” held in Beijing on April 21-22. Under the terms of the agreement, joint Russian-Chinese business incubator, robotics center and venture capital fund will also be created.
Also on the territory of the Skolkovo innovation city there will be located at least 15 companies - residents of the program, operating in the field of information, energy efficient technologies, as well as new materials science.
The parties will start implementing the agreement in the third quarter of this year.
The Russian-Chinese Venture Fund will invest in companies - residents of Skolkovo, working in the field of information technology and robotics, as well as space technology and telecommunications.
