Box.com bought Verold - an interactive 3D editor

On Box.com blog, company founder Aaron Levy posted a message about the purchase of Verold .

Since 2010, Verold has been creating and developing a visual editor for rendering 3D models into interactive presentations that can be embedded on web pages.


Aaron Levy separately notes that the company is opening up new frontiers in the use of browser-based WebGL - an area in which Verold is deservedly considered one of the pioneers.

As part of Box.com, the company’s practices will be used to better display graphic content in the customer store.
