The consideration of a complaint by Yandex on Google’s activities is postponed until the end of May. FAS did this at the request of the American company. Google representatives said they did not have time to prepare all the necessary documents.
The head of the FAS, Vladimir Kudryavtsev, said that on April 13, at 10 am, hearings on this case had already been held. However, the situation has not changed, because Google has not submitted all the requested materials. The volume of the requested documentation is approximately 70,000 pages. It will take two weeks to collect this information. The same time it takes FAS to review documents.
In addition, at the hearing, Google showed information constituting a trade secret. Therefore, Yandex lawyers could not be present at this time, a representative of Yandex Asya Melkumova told RBC.
