Started pre-order Apple Watch

Apple began to take pre-orders for all versions of Apple Watch in countries where the sale of smart watches starts April 24. Starting today, the Apple Store stores around the world will be able to try on different versions of the Apple Watch.

A special calendar is built into the Watch app on iOS and on the site, with which you can set up a “meeting” in a store with a sales assistant in order to select the most appropriate model.

So far, Apple will never sell Watch directly in stores - the device can only be bought via the Internet, or by agreeing to meet at the Apple Store in advance.

Also, Apple Watch Edition - the most expensive line of the company, will not be available in stores for fitting.

The Apple Watch release prices are as follows: Watch Start from $ 349 for a model in a 38-mm case, and $ 399 for a 42-mm. Steel Watch from $ 549 and $ 599 respectively. The upper price limit of steel models: $ 1049 and $ 1099. Apple Watch Edition prices start at $ 10,000.



BusinessInsider predicts Apple's primary shipments of smart watches at 15 million in 2015, with an increase in shipments of 65% in 2016 and 43% in 2017.
