Joke in a computer game or a year-long legal history

More than a year ago, there was an article from soulburner about a guy who wanted to be held criminally responsible for the joke in the game . Although why "wanted"? The case is still not closed ...




Let me remind you that nineteen-year-old Carter from New Braunfels, Texas, who was a professional (?) LoL player, was arrested in February 2013 for commenting on Facebook:

Yes, many publications wrote that the dialogue took place in the game itself, but in fact it happened on the pages in FB. I think if this dialogue took place in the game itself, the guy would have carried it.
According to lawyer Carter, the remark was “sarcastic and satirical” in response to a message from one Facebook member in which the person wrote that Carter was “crazy”. Canadian scribbled this dialogue and sent it to the appropriate services. As a result, the guys left and arrested.

Perhaps, this situation is absolutely not interesting to many. I watched the story develop. Judging by the petition , the last pre-trial hearing was March 28. After that, there were no updates.

If you believe the gamefront 's, the court itself will take place on June 23. I wonder how the story ends. But, judging by the fact that the case has already lasted more than a year, we can assume its outcome
