Mastercard.com could not stand the DDoS attack of Wikileaks readers

The 4Chan community and the Anonymous group reported on a successful DDoS attack on Mastercard.com , which is now in Down. The attack was made as part of a large-scale operation “Payback” ( Operation: Payback ).

A few days ago, Mastercard refused to list donations to the non-commercial site Wikileaks.

Prior to this, a successful attack was made on the website of a Swiss bank that froze the account of Julian Assange. The site was offline for about 16 hours.

Also, a PayPal blog site has been subjected to a DDoS attack for the same reason as Mastercard.

Now Wikileaks is forced to raise funds through the accounts of the startup Flattr , whose founder is Peter Sunde, also known as the co-founder of The Pirate Bay.
