Why online news sucks? 10 reasons
Maybe it's not good to mock the wretched, but the current news sites deserve a whipping. Consider the list of their sins.
One of the reasons people go to the Internet is to get news quickly. So, dear candidates for the Pulitzer Prize, we will not scroll your news for half a year. Either break it into pieces, or erase all unnecessary that you have written there.
But let's not rush into extremes. It is not necessary to divide the news into parts in such a way that one page and one sentence each fall on one page. Maybe you need to unscrew more banners, but it also breaks us to click thirty times to read one (!) News.
You open the news of the case, you carefully begin to read. Suddenly, bang! From somewhere above or from the corner comes the miracle of interactive animation. You start frantically searching for the “Close” button or some cross, but it was shoved exactly where no one would guess. All this bothers you and you close the window. Familiar?

Often the news tells about some interesting piece or site, but does not give any links. You have to google yourself. Sometimes it remains on the conscience of the incompetent journalist, but often the reason is different - this is the editors of the site are afraid that we will go to another site. Do not be afraid! We really leave.
Thank God, many are no longer asking everyone to register. However, there are still dinosaurs still requiring mandatory registration. They do not understand that it is easier for us to refuse to read their news than to register on a site that we will never return to anyway.
Wherever you go, the first pages look like the HTML wizards are nauseous. Endless columns of text and links, all in porridge, no separation of content. If we are going to sculpt the column, look at the Alltop site. Maybe it will help.

Well, there are plenty of these guys everywhere, not just on news sites. Since the news itself is sometimes quite contradictory in its essence, there is a place to roam. It starts runaway, threats, disassembly, insults. Try delete, immediately start screaming about freedom of speech. But you still need to clean the forum.
