In Russia, you can now change mobile tariffs for free

According to Fontanka , from now on, mobile users have the right to change their tariff plans monthly for free. New opportunities for consumers are guaranteed by the rules for the provision of telephone services, which entered into force on January 15. Charging by an operator of a fee for switching from one tariff to another is allowed only if less than 31 days have passed since the moment of the previous such change.

Until now, the majority of cellular companies allowed only one-time free tariff change. But even this opportunity in practice was available to new subscribers and was used immediately after connecting the number and choosing a convenient tariff (as a rule, packages of only one plan were on sale). Service depending on the operator cost from 100 to 150 rubles.
