The company "Soup" presented today a beta version of the project Livejournal.ru . The search service for Livejournal.ru was provided by Yandex — it is looking for both LJ resources and the entire Runet. The plans - run a search for comments and personal search, allowing you to search in your journal for non-public records and responses.

The search results on Livejournal.ru broadcast Yandex.Direct advertising. Revenues from placing ads "Yandex" and "Soup" will be divided among themselves. The partnership agreement signed by the companies is valid at least until the moment when contextual advertising on Yandex.Direct makes Livejournal.ru earn the first million dollars.

Another partner of Livejournal.ru is the site of the Kommersant publishing house. “Kommersant” forums are integrated with the new “Soup” service, and now only users registered in LiveJournal will be able to comment on them.
