Quick-and-dirty repair Bluetooth-adapter

Three years ago, I bought a thin bluetooth adapter on Gorbushka in order to provide communication with a computer and a PDA, and a telephone. Type of adapter I bring in the photo:

But recently his case broke. More precisely, its part under the contact pad. After that, I had ambitious plans to embed the adapter directly into the laptop, but for a number of technical problems they had to be postponed for now, although there are all pinouts and quite a lot of information has been gathered. Now I needed to quickly establish his work.
The decision came quickly. Many houses have “wrappers” of SIM cards lying around, from which it must be broken out. It uses a very thick and good plastic, millimeter thick. I just cut two small pieces out of it and stuck one on top of the other under the adapter's pad. I put it on glue-stick, because the adapter is still useful to me - I'm still going to embed it in a laptop.

And it works :)
Can anyone have options for this repair? It would be helpful. Motorists in general stockings belts replace generators.
