Just a day after
Apple officially launched the ability to distribute content by subscription via the App Store, a similar mechanism was
proposed by Google .
If Apple’s offer comes down to being able to subscribe to content that is available through applications for mobile devices based on iOS, then Google offers a platform-independent software interface to control subscription access to content.
')
In other words, Apple offers the media to make applications for the iPhone, iPad and iPod with built-in purchase / subscription.
And Google proposes making multi-platform sites with a built-in content subscription system.
The good news in my opinion is that the launch of these two systems can be considered the beginning of a new phase in content trading, and therefore in the life of the media.
