Front pages of The New York Times on DVD

The front page of the newspaper is the most scandalous, relevant and generally the most-most. Especially such a newspaper as The New York Times, beloved by the Americans to shiver and received as much as 98 Pulitzer Prizes.

It so happened that after the victory of Barack Obama in the recent presidential elections in the United States, many newspapers, including The New York Times, even reprinted the print run in order to satisfy the readers' thirst for seeing their elect in paper format. Interestingly, the day after the election, the newspapers were sold on ebay at absolutely indecent prices. And the editorial on their sites for the digital versions of the front pages asked for a lot of money. That's why it is necessary - I do not know. But, perhaps, the American "pioneer" is more visible. If the people wish to read, so let them read. Or collects for the archive.

Actually, it's time to move on to the news itself. The fact is that the publisher, which publishes the famous US newspaper, has digitized and published on DVD all the first pages of The New York Times in the entire history of its existence. These discs duplicate the paper version of the archive, called The New York Times: The Complete Front Pages, 1851–2008. I am sure that the entire "circulation" of the publication will be sold out in the blink of an eye. The history of the most important events for more than one and a half centuries, and even in the format of the "front page", and even on DVD in excellent quality is an interesting thing.

It is interesting, but if our “Twinkle” or “Around the World” shared their first pages, would you have bought yourself such a “historical-first-order” excursion into the past?
