The company Hyundai has released a 46-inch plasma 3D-TV. It implements TriDef technology from the company DDD Group, which involves splitting the video stream in real time in two: for the right and left eye. The TV is sold together with two pairs of polarized glasses and costs $ 4,000, which is about 25% more expensive than regular “plasma”.
Especially for such an event, several Japanese cable stations began broadcasting four times a day of 3D broadcasts, which are specially removed for viewing in three-dimensional form. Three-dimensional video technology has long been well known, but this is the first full-scale television project in the world in 3D format.
Sales of Hyundai 3D-TVs outside of Japan are not planned yet, but you can enjoy the delights of 3D video on a regular PC using a special software or if you buy the TriDef Vision + prefix and connect it to a regular TV by inputting a signal source (DVD player or TV cable) ).
