We are strange people ...
On the one hand, we condemn the thieves - on the other hand, we joyfully support the thieves and steal (software) ourselves (well, do we not have money, but do we have other thieves?).
We say that if I had such money as a "...", I would buy licensed software, help the poor, etc. - but when money appears, somehow we quickly forget about these statements.
On the one hand, we en masse condemn those who take bribes - on the other hand, we offer it persistently, even if they refuse (“a fine is big”, “I'm in a hurry”, “I was drunk” - but only the one who takes the blame!) .
')
We say that it is not safe to drive on the roads - and we ourselves break (hurry up, steep). We tell (we wink at the headlights) to each other where the cameras and ambushes of the PPS are located. And we are very indignant that in this case they are fined.
We say that the product is expensive - and we create an excessive demand for it at an inflated price (I need to buy first, on the first day of sales).
We say that the goods are cheap - and resent disgusting quality.
We say that we have a low culture - and using foul language we throw garbage past an urn.
We say that you need to wear a seat belt - and proudly hold a belt in your hands, until the inspector's passage (all of a sudden, cool friends will laugh).
We do not want to pay taxes - and then we complain about the low quality of education and medicine, which are free.
And in general, we are talking a lot about what and how to do it right - probably, in most of these cases, only tightening of laws and ensuring the inevitability of punishment will help us. Self-regulation works, but somehow slowly.
UPD: The last conclusion was made on the basis of the observation of the reaction to an increase in the fine for the unfastened seat belt - they are fastened! Required to be fastened. Or at least pretend. If earlier such a request was, to put it mildly, an inadequate reaction - now, after mentioning the amount of the fine, everything is more or less calm. Drivers and passengers have a more serious argument than security causing laughter - money!
