Researchers from the eBiquity Group have published a new report on spam in the blogosphere. From the report it follows that:
- 53% of pings from blogs are blog spam, and for English blogs this figure is 64%;
- 56% of blogs that generate pings are spam (for them, even the name is “splogs”);
- Blogspot is the most spammed blog hosting;
- The majority of “splogs” are located in the United States.
