Kommersant and MAIL.RU staged an experiment on promotion in social networks

I climbed around Habr and realized that no one else had informed the locals about the joint project of Kommersant and Mile.Ru. So I will try to fill this gap, the benefit has passed exactly two months (!).

And so, discussions inside Kommersant began in mid-September, and on October 12, the experiment was already launched and announced. Well, as announced? Yes, there was just a publication about this in Kommersant-Money . In short, if you read the letters very lazy, the point is that several companies were selected (22 + 6 as free agents) who wanted to test themselves in the Internet promotion on social networks. The role of Kommersant is to cover all this on your pages. Mail.ru, as I understand it, expertise, technical platform, etc.

There you can also find company reports (two months this is not a joke, a lot has accumulated), in which they tell what they have done and what results they have achieved. How frank the reports are to judge you.

By the way, I take part in this project. Unfortunately (or fortunately) I am not an organizer and therefore I cannot answer for all projects. I joined one of the participants (Kosogorov Moonshine). By the way, self-racers are the strangest of all 22 + 6 companies. They don’t promote their own moonshine at all (or almost don’t promote them ... I don’t promote any bottles at all :)), but they did blog KOMOGOROV SAMIZDAT (and this also applies to this branch of habr). This is not WEB 2.0, but rather the media of popular journalism about entrepreneurship. Anyone can be an author, but not as blogs write what you want, but like in real media. After all, KOSOGOGOROV SAMIZDAT has an editorial board consisting of the moonshiners themselves ... well, they also pay fees like any other decent media outlets (by the way, quite at the level of 500 rubles.).

First, all this KOSOGOROV SAMIZDAT existed in LJ ( ru_kosogorov ) (he actually lives there now), and now my efforts are moving to a standard blog ( samizdat.kosogorov.ru ). It is assumed that

(+ I’ll help them out of D-stroke / EXPERT, though I don’t admit anything to editorial policy). I am rather a “spontaneous marketer” + partly on the technical side.
