About hosting MTW.ru

Picamatic server is located on the site of this hosting. This morning this wonderful hosting disconnected us (now the server is working again).

A couple of days ago, someone sent a complaint to the support to a phishing page that supposedly resides on our server. Here is what they sent us:

Dear subscriber,
a phishing page was found on one of your sites,
www.picamatic.com/show/2008/07/04/10/553615_461x325.png
we ask you to delete it to prevent your ip address from being blocked,
and send the archive of this page to us, to transfer it to the department engaged in preventing the spread of fraud on the Internet associated with phishing.
You can send the archive to the addresses ap@mtw.ru or vf@mtw.ru

')
Actually, that picture: (link)

Dudes, well, what, in the ass, phishing - it's just a static PNG! We cannot just delete user pictures with some abstract complaints (they didn’t even provide the URL of the page where this picture is used for phishing purposes). Edak every passerby can say: "guys, you have phishing here." In general, something like this, we answered them. After that, they said that, in general, they have no complaints against us.

And this morning, these censored amazing people disconnected us. Saying that with every such Pupkin who has filed a complaint, we must deal individually with each other until his (Pupkin) is fully satisfied! We finally deleted the picture, but the sediment remained unpleasant. Now we are urgently looking for another - more adequate - provider for relocation (Moscow). Write to kamenty, if anyone what can advise.

PS a little correspondence with them:

MTW:
Dear Alex and Igor, if you do not know what phishing is, you can find it here:
ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%A4% D0% B8% D1% 88% D0% B8% D0% BD% D0% B3
These actions are illegal, and accordingly we are prishemaem. I do not intend to enter into disputes with you, we make certain elementary requirements, which are not so difficult to comply with.
As Oleg already said, when repeating complaints about this resource, the server will be turned off again .

We:
We know what phishing is. From the definition you sent from the wiki, it follows that
Fishing (eng. Phishing, from password - password and fishing - fishing, fishing) - a type of Internet fraud, the purpose of which is to obtain user identification data.

Phishing attack organizers use bulk emails on behalf of popular brands. In these letters, they insert links to fake sites, which are an exact copy of the real ones. Once on this site, the user can give the criminals valuable information that allows you to manage your account from the Internet (username and password for access), or even your credit card number.

Please explain to us how pictures that third-party users post on our service (STATIC PICTURES are not even clickable pages) that do not contain any fake email / URLs that can be attributed to phishing at all? The essence of our question is precisely this - that MTW makes us groundless claims. Justify, please, where is it possible to spot phishing on our server ?? In the static image !? Can you at least somehow confirm that we, as the owners of this service, are engaged in fraud? Otherwise, we will have to change the provider to the one who really appreciates the time of customers, and give this case to wide publicity in IT-circles.
