Publish2 - a platform for journalists
Media blogger Scott Karp and businessman Robert Young announced their intention to launch Publish2 , a platform for journalists.
The details of the new service turned out to be a little difficult to find out, but Scott describes it as a social network 2.0 platform for journalists (as well as independent “news bloggers,” “urban” journalists, students-journalists, that is, all journalists clearly defined), designed to put journalists in news center on the Internet. This is a news aggregator, contained by journalists. Too many Digg links mean that the main problem is filtering news - it needs to be improved. Publish2 will work on Drupal.
Announcement of such a project is so risky, if, of course, they do not need funding. While the theory is good, in practice the creation of such a platform will take several months and during this time there will probably be a number of problems that will pull the development of the project back.
