km.ru sends spam under the guise of an invitation to a social network
Over the past week, I have already received a strange letter three times inviting me to register on the Odnoklassniki website from km.ru 1 . The oddities are that
first, the letter arrives at an address that I have not used for a long time, especially for registration anywhere, secondly, they offer me to strangers to their circle of friends completely unfamiliar to me the person and thirdly, the letter arrives with the “beaten” sender, that it is generally a rarity for mail to GMail.
Today, after such a letter, I decided to understand a little more ... So, the letter itself looks quite ascetic, and in the address itself, which is proposed to go in order to join the circle of friends, the invitation code is viewed.
Please note that the letter is written on behalf of a certain "Anna Goncharova". I have a friend named Anna, I have friends with the surname “Goncharov”, but I don’t remember such a combination, I just decided to check, just in case, maybe someone’s sister I know. When you go to the web page, it becomes clear that this is just spam, because although the invitation code was correctly transmitted through the HTTP request header, in the information window someone Ksyusha Petrova proposes to join me, the last name and first name is rather ordinary, but this is hardly a party alias Anna Goncharova.
From this we can conclude that this is obviously spamming to unwind your social network. Obviously the popularity of the project of the same name, located directly in the domain. Ru does not rest. ')
UPD: The phrase “km.ru sends spam” means that the address of the sender of this letter is listed as “KM.RU Administration”. I really don’t know who is behind this newsletter, so I put “black PR” in the tags from the very beginning. Below in the comments I posted a heading with system information for those interested.
1 Moreover, it is the “Odnoklassniki” name that is underlined, the first two times I thought that it was a letter from the site odnoklassniki.ru, where I had been registered for a long time and such letters rarely come from.
