FRIA is going to show startups to Vladimir Putin

On Friday, March 27, the Internet Initiatives Development Fund (IIDF) plans to show Russian President Vladimir Putin startups working in such areas as telecommunications, corporate software, Big Data, cognitive technologies, digital content, information security and intellectual property protection on the Web. . IIDF was created at the initiative of Vladimir Putin, and he closely follows the development of Russian Internet entrepreneurship, according to Vedomosti.

Recall that in 2013, in November, the IIDF showed the president 10 working start-ups, some of which then received an investment of 1 million rubles. Two years later, almost all of these companies continue to work, except for two: “Mother’s school” (distance learning project for parents and children under 12), and Smart Fox (the project’s goal was to prepare students for the Unified State Exam). As for "Mother's school", this project simply did not reach the indicators necessary for the continuation of investment by the fund. Smart Fox changed the name to iSmashed, and with the name - and focus (now the team is repairing the iPhone).

The most successful projects of the previously shown to the president are “All evacuators of Russia” (search for evacuators), PMI (photo authentication) and Dr.Tariff (online monitoring of mobile communication tariffs). “All evacuators of Russia” received from the IIDF investments of up to 14.5 million rubles. Dr. Tariff received 1.4 million rubles from FRIA. and attracted a new partner, the company "Svyaznoy". PMI company received 14.5 million rubles. from IIDF, plus investments from Flint Capital and Ilya Perekopsky.
