One of the most famous watch companies TAG Heuer, during a press conference at its booth, announced the cooperation with Google and Intel in the project to create their own "smart watches".
According
to the company's website, the partners signed an agreement to create smart Swiss watches using Intel technology on the
Android Wear platform. For the first time in history, a contract concluded between a Swiss watch house and companies from Silicon Valley involves sharing the experience of the participants in the production of premium watches and the release of software and hardware.
At the TAG Heuer stand, Jean-Claude Biver, executive director of TAG Heuer and president of the watchmaking division of the LVMH Group, David Singleton and Michael Wear, technical director of Android Wear, vice president and general manager of Intel’s development division, spoke at the TAG Heuer stand.
Under the agreement, the partners are going to launch a luxury product fully integrated into the daily life of its owner. The watch promises to be the quintessence of technological innovations, creativity and topical design ideas born on different sides of the ocean - in the California Silicon Valley and the Swiss Watch Valley La Chaux-de-Fonds.

As Jean-Claude Biver stated, cooperation provides companies with a wide field for mutually beneficial joint activities, the potential of which for all three companies cannot be overestimated.
For his part, David Singleton said that Google is very enthusiastic about the prospect of cooperation with TAG Heuer and Intel, which will allow the launch of a premium watch on the market.
