Why it is necessary to put retargeting in myTarget? For example, online shopping? Because in “My World” or on “Odnoklassniki” there are a lot of people who can sell products (especially on women's topics, children's products and anything related to construction and home improvement); because the people-users of these social networks are perfectly predisposed to buying goods of this type. Automatically increases the audience, because many are sitting, for example, only in "Classmates" and do not use either "Vkontakte" or "Facebook". That is, if we give advertising only in Yandex.Direct or Vkontakte, we partially lose some of the traffic from an audience over 30 years old.
Not so long ago, just about a month ago, Mail.Ru Group launched myTarget, an advertising platform that unites the mobile audience of the largest Russian and CIS services and social networks, including VKontakte, Odnoklassniki and Moi Mir. This service is not particularly different from Target @ @. Ru and you can simply call it "the former Target @. Ru".
Now step by step:
1) First, we need to go to the service myTarget and log in / register in it. There is nothing complicated.

2) To create a retargeting audience, go to the “Audiences” menu item after registration. I want to note that there are very cool opportunities: you can target by phone numbers from the customer base, by email, by participants in groups in Odnoklassniki. But we need to target by retargeting, and for this it is worth creating a Top @ Mail. Ru counter.

3) Next, go to Top@Mail.Ru, register your site in the rating, get the counter code and set this code on the site (we don’t put the logo code, but if you really want, you can put it). Copy the ID counter.

4) Then go back to the "Data Sources" menu item "Audiences" of the service and add the counter ID, click "Send request to add." Well, here. we linked the counter to myTarget, but that's not all, because we need to create an audience itself.

5) And for this, we return to our counter and create goals in the “Objectives” tab in the “Counter settings.” In this example, I will target those who were on the cart page and those who were on the site and viewed more than 5 pages (in my example, I’m setting up for my client’s online store). There are many opportunities here, because the goals can be configured in many ways: the time of the visit, the visit to a specific page, onclick / onsubmit events.

6) After binding the counter, click on the "Create an audience" button and create it by selecting the desired parameters. In my case, I make 2 audiences: those who were on the site and viewed more than 5 pages and those who were in the basket. When setting up an audience, I advise you to disable the "cross-device" (remove the check mark from the item "Expand coverage to other user devices"). That's all. Is done.

7) Then everything is standard: we create a campaign in which we make the ads we need. There is no more difficult than creating ads for YAN in Yandex.Direct. I advise you to create a teaser of 90 * 75 for social networks and mail.ru services. It will not be superfluous to put utm-tags, where we will get data for the analyst about the field, age and geo.

8) We connect the retargeting audiences created by us in the campaign setup. You can also indicate in the creation you need the targeting (interests, education, status, income, etc.), but you should turn off the standard display of ads in Russia (let the broadcast to the whole world go, we have remarketing). The price of payment is better to put for impressions, not clicks, so that the budget does not merge. Well, then just click "Create a campaign", indicating its name.

9) In the same way we create a campaign for ads from the audience that viewed more than 5 pages of the site. We add there something motivating in ads with creatives. But do not do it in my mood. I just showed you the possibilities for retargeting in myTarget.
