In a nutshell, 2lemetry handles data processing from any device operating in the IoT context. Any such device generates a huge amount of data, the processing of which should be done by someone. Whether it's NFC-beacons in the store, a freezer with the function of controlling the availability of products or intelligent sensors to monitor corrosion of pipelines, every such device needs a universal data processing tool.
2lemetry takes data from devices, and organizes them into a digestible stream that can be controlled by humans. Data reading, analytics and predictive prediction modeling based on such data. Using the example of NFC-beacons, you can analyze the attendance of various parts of the store in order to try to put the most profitable product there or provoke impulse purchases.
The company this year received a $ 4 million investment Salesforce Ventures. Startup customers include Honeywell and Demeter.
It’s impossible to predict how 2lemetry will fit into Amazon’s portfolio, but it appears the company will smoothly embark on a course for Amazon Web Services, which already supports some products of the big data era, through the Kinesis service.
2lemetry was formed in 2011 in Denver and was part of the AllSeen Alliance industrial group.
