How we optimized our videos on Youtube and what came of it
Somehow we noticed that one of our commercials not only actively collects views, but also in good faith brings us new orders for the animation of logos. Here it is, meet:
And this is despite the fact that we just posted a video on our channel on Youtube and did nothing more with it. But it would be worth it. ')
So we decided to optimize this and our other videos with the animation of logos and see what comes of it.
All optimization circles
To begin with, we determined which keywords for these commercials are the most popular and relevant. We used Google Keyword Planner for this (by the way, there are alternatives - the Key Collector program, Wordtracker, WordStream, Semrush, Wordstat from Yandex services), and then we compared the results with the Youtube Keyword Tool.
The main keywords “ logo animation ” and “ animated logo ” were added to the title with an exact entry: for example, from the humble Two Seasons Logo Animation we got Two Seasons Logo Animation - Animated Logo (Video) .
We also filled the descriptions of videos with keywords, and the main keywords tried to use at least twice in each description.
We decided to do the description in Russian and in English, as part of our audience is Russian-speaking. And in order for the English-language description of the video to be perfectly literate, we drove all the texts through the translators-netivs from Nitro - it came out very quickly and conveniently.
We also added four links to our other videos with animated logos in the description of each video. Such is the internal linking.
And at the end of the optimization, we added keywords to the tags for each video.
And what is the result?
This was the result of our manipulations after 3 and a half months:
Note that the Animated Logos Of Famous Brands commercial collected its 15 thousand views for over a year, and then received +10 thousand in a matter of months. The analyst clearly showed where it came from: 40% of viewers for this period came from a search on Youtube, although on the whole, only 13% of them came through the channel. Another 30% came from similar clips. The English-speaking traffic has significantly increased, every fifth visitor watched our animated logos from the USA. A similar situation with the other videos, even though they are newer.
Is this a good result? IMHO, very good. In addition, over the past few months, we have received a steady stream of leads that need prerolls and animated logos. We have already completed one of the orders worth about $ 600. Of course, you cannot buy a yacht, but nevertheless.
And the optimization algorithm is now gained - with our new OptionWorkshop Logo Animation video clip we plan to do the same procedure.
