According
to Vedomosti, the online booking service for Oktogo hotels managed by Travel.ru raised more than $ 5 million from a pool of investors led by the Polish investment fund MCI Management.
MCI itself invested more than $ 3 million, thus obtaining a share of less than 10% in Oktogo. The remaining shares were contributed by the existing investors of the project - Mangrove Capital and Ventech venture funds.
The deal was closed back in December 2014, and the money will be spent on developing service sales in Russia and the CIS countries.
