About the dangers of links "here" and "here"

This is so obvious 1 , but at the same time it is so common that I got into the thousand times the first time I said this out loud.
1 So much so that even you-know-who wrote about it.
The links here and here are like a door without a sign in an unfamiliar room. It is clear that this is the door, but it is not clear where it leads. And if in the greenhouse home environment, users can move the mouse and still look where the link leads (let's not go into acceptability forcing the user to do it), then there are plenty of examples when it is problematic (let's say the browser is open to full screen) impossible at all (PDA).

And one more example you can see here . (This is me that even knowing the URL does not help to understand what is behind it.)

I will finish with a good example. In his article “ A misconception about the ZODB, ” Martijn Faassen talks about a good object database for Python and how to work with it correctly.
