to the portal Cnews , only at the expense of Moscow ICT consumers, the Russian industry received 693 billion rubles in 2014. The bulk of revenue is the share of IT companies, which amounted to 245.3 billion. Representatives of online businesses received 231.8 billion from customers, plus users spent another 216 billion on communications.
According to expert estimates, the private sector made a rather large "contribution" to telecommunications companies: individuals brought in about 90.7 billion rubles in revenue, which is 42% of the total revenue of the corresponding segment. 150 billion rubles went online from the corporate sector, and about 105 billion more received by IT companies. As far as can be understood from the figures, it is the corporate sector that most actively manifests itself as a consumer in the industry.
The Moscow state sector spent on IT 98.1 billion in 2014, 36.7 billion was spent on communications. The Internet industry received 11.6 billion rubles from state structures, which is about 5% of the total revenue.

The calculation of the revenue of the ICT industry in Russia for 2014 was carried out on the basis of data obtained from the Department of Information Technologies, the Department of Economic Policy and Development of the City of Moscow, RAEC, NRU HSE, from reports of major telecom operators, as well as research by consultants working in this field.
