Nonamebank is a bank for entrepreneurs from former employees of Sberbank
Former employees of Sberbank launched two new banking services for entrepreneurs. The first, Modulbank service for small and medium businesses, was launched in December 2014. The second is Nonamebank, a service for start-up entrepreneurs.
Yakov Novikov (former head of Sberbank's small business lending department), Oleg Laguta (former head of Sberbank’s development, coordination and control department) and Andrei Petrov (former head of Sberbank’s small business department) worked on projects together: Novikov became head of Nonamebank, Laguta - Modulbank, and Petrov was engaged in the development of a technological platform common to both projects.
Services do not have their own banking license, and all related issues are resolved on the basis of Regional Credit Bank, which also provides the infrastructure and the necessary technological capacity.
