Twitter confirmed willingness to dialogue with Roskomnadzor

According to the press secretary of Roskomnadzor of Russia, Vadim Ampelonsky, the administration of the social network Twitter announced its readiness for negotiations with Roskomnadzor. Interfax reports this today.

According to Ampelonsky, Twitter agreed to work out the question of determining the daily attendance of popular Russian accounts at the level of technical specialists: "The administration promised to provide a more detailed and detailed answer later."

Recall: on February 13, Roskomnadzor sent an official request to Twitter asking for clarification of the position of the social network administration in connection with the consistent failure to comply with the provisions of Russian legislation.

Earlier, the head of Roskomnadzor, Alexander Zharov, stated that “Out of the 108 requests for disclosure of data on attendance of accounts of popular users sent by the administration of the social network Roskomnadzor, not one is satisfied. We have a natural question about the acceptability of such a position for a company that operates in the territory of the Russian Federation. ”
