Hopes & Fears has restarted in English

Publishing House Look At Media announced the launch of a new project in New York - Hopes & Fears . The English-language resource, named Hopes & Fears about entrepreneurship, closed in the summer of 2014, will be devoted to culture and lifestyle.

Vasily Esmanov, publisher of Look At Me who moved to New York, and Marina Galperin, a journalist of Russian origin, who was a senior editor at Animal New York, who has moved to New York, are engaged in the project. In addition to them, three journalists and a producer are involved in the project, Ekaterina Bazilevskaya is involved in sales. Here is what Esmanov says about the new project:

We have a small team and a small office in Bushwick. We start here, and then we'll see how it goes. A little later, we plan to launch a similar story about Berlin and, possibly, about London. But for now, perhaps, it is too early to talk about it.
We have already met with Nike and other brands with which we work in Russia. They like everything scary. They want to work with us. The attitude of brands to us gave us enthusiasm in working on the project.

Another publisher of Look At Media, Alexey Ametov, reports that “the goal of the coming year is 100,000 unique visitors per day.”
