The company T-Systems announced a reduction in the staff of Russia due to the growth rate of currencies against the ruble and the need to use servers within the Russian Federation to store data from Russian users.
According to Cnews , in addition to reducing the number of employees, T-Systems will have to stop supporting its cloud business. Nevertheless, the company will continue to work in the Russian Federation, with a focus on the development of a software development and support center.

The development of this direction also stops, ”the company representatives said.
In 2015, the company plans to reduce about 40 employees (in total, T-Systems employs about 1,000 people, in the Russian division), and another 20 employees will be asked to change positions in accordance with the qualifications.
“In Russia, the company planned to develop a cloud business based on European data centers. The significant growth of the euro (from i45.1 to 1 euro in early January 2014 to i71 in February 2015) and changes in the legislative framework make the cloud business for T-Systems in Russia ineffective, ”commented the situation in the company.
