told Facebook that by the end of 2014, the publication was able to earn 72,748,000 rubles. According to EBITDA (before taxes), Slon.ru was at a loss of 34.4 million rubles.
At the same time, Vinokurov
told RBC that the income from a paid subscription (introduced at the end of June 2014) on the website amounted to only 1.9% of annual revenue.
Another project by Alexander Vinokurov - Dozhd TV channel is also unprofitable. In January-May 2014, “Rain” showed a minus of 21.3 million rubles.

According to TNS, the monthly audience of the Slon.ru project in December 2014 was 2.4 million Russian visitors.
