What's new in Adium 1.3

Adium 1.3 is just around the corner. What awaits us in the new version?

** First **, convenient search in the contact list. Press ⌘F and type the first characters.

While it works for a standardized list of contacts (aka

** Secondly **, completely reworked by Contact Inspector, which brought together information about a contact, meta-contacts, settings and Apple Address Book cards.

** Thirdly **, Facebook support will appear. Among Russian users, users of a popular social network are not so many (in percentage), so not everyone will appreciate this opportunity.

** Fourth **, performance has been greatly improved. You will notice this if you are using multiple accounts or in cases of high load on the hard disk.

** Fifth **, many fixes and improvements. Here are some of the most interesting:

* the ability to "throw" a song from iTunes on the contact: which will lead to the transfer of the file through Adium
* transfer fragments of text and links using drag-and-drop.
* clearing the message window via the context menu or sending the message '/ clear'
* ability to disable Growl for different statuses
