Rating of IT resources for January 2015
Analytical center Brand Analytics presents the first industrial citation rating of Russian-language IT resources in social media in January 2015.
This rating from Brand Analytics is a kind of rating of trust and interest of readers to IT-resources. For the rating calculation, the number of hyperlinks to the materials of publications is analyzed in Russian-language messages of social media users (over 860 million messages were processed in January).
The rating leader is w3bsit3-dns.com.ru with an index of 21.0 (32,351 links). Habrahabr ranked second with 3.2 points behind (27,487 links). Hi-Tech Mail.ru, the largest resource about technology in RuNet, closes Top-3 with 8.5 points behind the leader (19,338 links).

The citation rating of IT resources in January 2015
The citation index for IT resources ( ITSMI ) for January was 99.1 points. ITSMI is calculated as the ratio of rounded up to hundreds of the number of published links to each resource to the total number of links to media materials included in the Top 16 rankings.

To calculate the Rating for January, 865,456,696 Russian-language public messages were processed, published in social media for the period from January 1 to January 31, 2015. 982 845 608 links to external resources were used by users, including 9,068,168 "short links "(Such as t.co, fb.me, goo.gl, etc.). More than 180,716 unique links to IT resources took part in the citation rating of Russian-speaking IT resources.
Data sources for analyzing messages were popular social networks and services: VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, Facebook, Twitter, My World, Instagram, YouTube, G +, as well as blogs, forums, news articles and comments to them, thematic sites and discussion groups.
UPD: Since the rating was compiled for the first time, we made a mistake and did not include such a resource as Hi-tech Mail.ru, which should rightfully occupy the third line of the rating (19,338 links). In this regard, the rating has been updated to the Top 16. Please note that the citation index, both general and each service individually, has changed. In February, the rating of the resource will be taken into account, the dynamics will be evaluated based on these indicators.
