FAS will adjust the ethics of "luring" employees

And here came a note from the government in a series about hiring employees. Or how best not to do it . Not exactly about IT, but I think it will also touch us, as one of the most “active” in terms of hiring employees in the fields.

Nikolai Kartashov, head of the department for monitoring advertising and unfair competition of the FAS Russia, said that pressure on companies from the state will increase in the near future. And if before FAS was engaged in controlling transactions between companies, now they will be worried about relations between companies and employees.

According to Nikolai Kartashov, “luring an employee by dishonest means will be regarded as unfair competition.”

“It's not fair, this is when the company spreads false information about your current employer, for example, that things are going bad for him and he will soon go bankrupt. Yes, and the fact that the employee’s competitor’s prompting to break the employment relationship, to violate the labor contract norms is not quite an honest norm. The contracts enshrined rights and obligations. There may be many items, the violation of which by the employee will damage his employer. As well as in the contract restrictions on employment in the competing companies within several years after dismissal can be fixed. And if the employee is pushed to such actions from the outside, this is also unfair competition. And the company that allowed it will be punished. ”

Also, Nikolai Kartashov explained that now for violation of the law on competition there is a penalty from 100 to 500 thousand rubles, plus the issuance of an order to continue not to take such actions.
