Yandex, Parallels, Kaspersky Lab, Epam Systems and Acronis have agreed not to entice employees

Yandex, Parallels, Kaspersky Lab, Epam Systems and Acronis have signed a “gentlemen's agreement” not to lure employees, in particular developers, to slow down the salary race.
Literally, this “gentlemen's agreement”, drawn up by Russian companies, ensures that none of them will try to hunt each other’s employees. Companies will not send job offers to the post to employees, to profiles on social networks, as well as through other means of communication. The agreement concerns developers who are in Russia.
The agreement, although not official and based on goodwill, is considered one of the most ambitious agreements of this kind in the history of industry in Russia.
The reason was that one of the listed companies invited one of the Parallels employees to work during the conference, and later made an offer to the employees of his team, says Stanislav Protasov, co-founder and head of the Parallels development center.
It is worth noting that some of these five companies had similar agreements before. at Acronis, all negotiations with potential candidates for employees at Parallels are conducted only with the permission of the head of the applicant and his head of the personnel department, says Olga Balitskaya, HR director at Acronis. Ochir Mandzhikov also states that Yandex and Parallels have verbal agreements not to entice employees. However, if an employee of one of the companies himself is considering the possibility of working in the organizations specified in the agreement, the parties may consider the applicant for one of the open vacancies.
Back in 2005, some IT companies in Belarus also publicly concluded such an agreement, and in Ukraine such agreements between leading developers are confirmed only by rumors. In Russia, agreements of this kind were previously reached between Yandex and Mail.Ru, as well as between Ostrovok.ru and Wikimart, according to Alyona Vladimirskaya, founder of the recruiting agency PRUFFI.

As for the legal part, some provisions of the law of the Russian Federation could possibly be applied to the non-application agreement, but the history of research on such issues does not yet exist.
