The concept has changed, sir!

Over the course of this year, I began to notice more often the strange behavior of employers: a job vacancy with a good position and a high salary is published on the job search site, and after some time (usually within a week) the position changes and / or the size of the expected salary decreases sharply. Unfortunately, I often found out about this already coming to the interview. Therefore, I worked out a rule for myself: before responding to a vacancy or accepting an invitation, always print out the current version of the vacancy.

As an example of the situation described, I’ll give you the vacancy of “The main ASP.NET developer for a social network” of the company Amendo Innovation Laboratory LLC , which is a member of the Skolkovo Foundation .

At the beginning of this week, this vacancy looked like this (the vacancy is taken from a saved copy of Google ):

Vacancy of the company "Laboratory of Innovation Amendo" at the beginning of the week
')
It is clearly seen from the screenshot that the position is called “The main ASP.NET developer for the social network” and the upper salary limit is 130 thousand rubles.

But by the end of the week, the main parameters of the job have changed significantly:

Vacancy of the company "Laboratory of Innovation Amendo" at the end of the week

Now the position is no longer so attractive (only “ASP.NET developer / programmer for a social network”) and the upper salary limit fell to 100 thousand rubles.

As you can see, this is the same job because its URL remained unchanged - http://hh.ru/vacancy/6619340 .

Several times, faced with such a situation, I tried to understand why such things are being done and found 2 explanations:
  1. Companies post “tasty” vacancies in order to attract as many strong candidates as possible in the early stages, and after they have gathered the required number of resumes, they change the working conditions to real ones.
  2. HR-manager quickly closes the vacancy of the head and begins to engage in the selection of subordinates. In order not to bother with the creation of a new vacancy for a long time, the HR-manager simply changes the parameters of the vacancy, thus introducing the already deceived responding candidates. It would be correct to delete the old vacancy and create a new one.

Accordingly, I have a question for the Habr community: “Is this the behavior of the employer ethically and should the sanctions imposed by such job sites apply to such employers?”.
